High-res photo Longshot Magazine’s Debt issue is now available! Production weekend in NYC was epic. Any worries we had about this issue’s many moving parts vanished once we all met up at Gawker Media and our pop-up staff began cranking like a well-oiled machine. In two days, the team created a 68-page magazine, with art direction by ETC; developed a spectacular digital edition, complete with a groundbreaking “nagwall”; and launched Longshot Radio, featuring a series of fantastic podcasts about debt. We asked you to submit your own IOUs, and you sent hundreds. We fielded 700 submissions, drank nearly as many cups of coffee, and rarely took a rest. But when it was all over, despite the sleep dept, nobody wanted to leave. And that, to us, is the greatest measure of success. The challenge of making Longshot is matched only by the exhilaration and pure fun.
